A roof can extend up to 6 tiles from a wall so roofed interiors have a maximum size of 12 cells across the shortest side.
Roof tiles can be up to 6 tiles away from a wall thus 6 from each side is 12.
You can only have a roof out to i believe 6 tiles from a wall otherwise it ll collapse.
I don t remember exactly but a column and or wall can support a radius of five to six roof tiles from the center.
For not straight lines the pythagorean theorem seems to work still with the rule that 6 cannot be exceeded.
