For replacing a garbage disposal with a regular drain firstly you need to remove the nuts that are holding the drain flange.
Replace garbage disposal with regular drain.
Hang the disposal by twisting it into place on the mounting nut.
Run water through the disposal for a few minutes to check for leaks.
Connect the ground wire to the green screw on the disposal and replace the cover plate.
Rotate the disposal until it is properly aligned then attach the drain arm and dishwasher drainpipe.
Use a flat head screwdriver to remove it from.
Use this method if you have removed your garbage disposal and want to replace it with a newly purchased garbage disposal.
Spend a little more you can buy a 1 3 hp disposal for 80 or less but our experts suggest that a more expensive unit with at least 3 4 hp would be a better choice.
To perform this use a pipe wrench and unbolt the nuts.
It will be secured with slotted screws.
There will be a drain pipe extending from the side of the garbage disposal to the drain on the adjacent sink.
Then turn the power.
Now complete the removal process by pushing up the drain through the sink.
