Spray the roof moss remover onto your roof that is covered with moss.
Remove moss on roof with bleach and hose.
Once sprayed the formula in the roof moss remover will kill the moss and the next time it rains the moss will literally wash off of your roof.
You might also want to hose down the plants shrubs and small trees with water once finished.
If you decide to use a bleach solution or other readymade roof moss treatment protect nearby plants with plastic sheeting.
Mix the bleach and water together.
The coating of water will dilute chemicals spilling downward from roof eaves.
The reason you shouldn t use bleach to remove moss from your roof has to do with the composition of your shingles.
To apply wet moss killer attach the garden hose to the container.
Carefully pour some of it into a watering can which is much easier to use when you are ready to apply the bleach water solution to the moss.
Hose off the area with plain water spraying at a downward angle.
Your shingles are made of a fiberglass mat that is covered with protective oils tar and asphalt.
Run the water for a moment until the moss killer begins to flow out.
Thoroughly saturate all of the mossy covered areas.
Wind sunlight water etc.
You must keep the moss damp with the solution for at least 20 minutes.
Spray the bleach mixture on the roof.
It may require more than one application of oxygen bleach to remove all the roof moss.
Dispense the moss killer in lines about 2 feet apart parallel to the roof ridge.
In the pump sprayer pour a mixture of roughly 1 3 a gallon of bleach to 1 gallons of water.

Wait 15 minutes for the bleach to do its job before rinsing the area with warm water.
Maintain a consistent flow of moss killer down the line.
Using a scrub brush mounted on a pole gently brush off the moss using a downward stroke.
Spray the bleach solution over the moss mats so the moss is completely soaked.
Then use a long handled soft bristle scrub brush to remove the moss from the roof scrubbing from the top down to avoid lifting.
It is this very oil tar and asphalt which protect your shingles from the elements.
Step 4 use the watering can to drench the moss with the bleach water solution.
